8915 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor, WA 98332

After WWII Old Man Hennington bought an army barracks and floated it into Gig Harbor Bay, placed it on the waterfront and rented it as an apartment building.

In 1982 Bruce Steel remodelled the barracks (completely rebuilt except for a few walls) but had to stay within the footprint of the structure. It is now known as Hennington Place

What a great development! The units are right on the water’s edge and you actually get the feeling that you are on a boat. They have a Marina out in front with their own boat slips and the views of the harbor are fascinating.

These condos are in town on Harborview Drive near many shops and places to eat. It’s really easy to walk outside for the morning paper, a latte, and a bagel and then sit on your deck and watch the harbor come to life. Now that’s a fun lifestyle.
